FileMaker – Creating portal and columns seems to be invisible

I created portal and columns seemed to be invisible. They were not invisible but too small to appear. You can resize them in layout mode.

I was following a training series (Basics for FileMaker 14: lesson 11). I created a portal.

I chose columns.

And they were invisible.

Resize a portal object. Use hot key “ctrl + I” to pop up inspector. Lock a portal object from changes. Now, you can select column objects and resize (width) them all in inspector.
